At Affordable Ceiling Storage Racks, our overhead garage storage systems provide space to store all of your items and open up floor space to freely walk or park vehicles. From seasonal décor to outdoor furniture and camping gear, our garage shelving units are the ideal solution!
A family owned and operated business, Affordable Ceiling Storage Racks has been serving Phoenix Valley including Prescott, Wickenburg, Maricopa and Florence, AZ since 2011.
Unlike other overhead garage shelving units, our storage racks mount directly to the studs in the wall. This unique feature adds an unmatched level of stability and strength to your ceiling rack, and it also relieves pressure from your ceiling trusses, providing a clean look with fewer mounts to your ceiling. Our garage rack systems can be installed almost anywhere in your garage.
Our hanging garage shelves have 6 connection points so your overhead storage racks will have 6 connection points to your trusses when they are placed in the open center of your garage (not against a wall). In some cases, the weight may be spread across 5 or 6 trusses.
Our heavy-duty shelving units are more durable and affordable then typical garage cabinets.
Each shelf is mounted directly to the studs in your wall and has a floor support every 4’. An average sized man can easily climb up these shelving units and they can support an enormous amount of weight.
They are installed in 8’ sections, up to 2’ deep set to any height on the wall. These shelves are 100% framed in galvanized steel with a powder coated steel grid and have a 1-1/4” Lip around all sides.
Here by popular demand, our newest option to keep within your budget. These are steel powder coated wire shelves that are supported underneath with 13-gauge galvanized steel brackets. These shelves are not completely framed in like our heavy duty shelving and do not have any lip. The steel powder coated grid is lock nut bolted to the wall supports. This is a great add on for some lighter objects that you may want quick access to or the ability to do a lot of narrow shelving at a much lower cost.
We can make these in ANY size and must only be installed into a wood framed wall at this time.
All of our ceiling racks are framed with perforated steel perfect for accessory hooks. Our hooks fit firmly in the perforated holes on the bottom of the rack and have a 50 lb. weight limit per hook.
Accessory hooks are most often used for Bicycles, ladders and folding chairs and more.
We have designed our garage rack system with American made steel that we source ourselves. We do all the prep work for the installation process such as making brackets, rounding edges on support pieces and cutting common sizes that are used. We keep it simple and focus only on ceiling racks and shelves all made with the same material and nuts & bolts.
Our simplified the process makes the process quick, affordable and headache free for everyone!
We will work with you and set up an appointment that fits into your schedule. Providing you with options and offering professional recommendations based on your goals for the space. We can install on the same day as our team can make any shape or size right on the spot to give you exactly what works best for YOU!

Where’s my basement?
Have you ever wondered why your Arizona home doesn’t have a basement? It’s called Caliche which is very hard soil.
Caliche (pronounced kah-leech-chay) is a form of calcium carbonate; it’s so hard that if you dig down deep enough, typically 6-12” you can see sparks flying off of your shovel. This also explains why Arizona pools are generally no more than 5 feet deep.
Caliche is common in semiarid regions, with granite running through some areas, digging a basement is cost prohibitive. That's why you need us! Put that storage space in your garage to work.
Requested a quote online, within 1 week the racks were installed. Phillip the tech was on time, 7:30am. He walked me through the best possible positioning of racks and install was quick and he cleaned up everything. We are very happy with this company and product.

I had lots of choices but I selected this company based upon the reviews. Phillip came out as the installer but that was a little different from what I thought was going to happen. I had understood that the gentleman I was talking to on the phone was going to do the installation. Not a big deal, Phillip came out and did a fine job. He was neat and efficient putting up two 4x8 racks for me. He then did a custom job on my other bay with a couple of narrow runners. For the do-it-yourselfers, which I am one, this is definitely not a job you want to do yourself. To be on a ladder in 110 degree heat driving 3 inch lag bolts upward into 2x4s and making sure the job is straight and professional is definitely something a do-it-yourselfer does not want to do. There is also a good deal of cutting of the angle iron to be the exact length and making sure that it's properly installed again is something you don't want to do on a ladder. Good job! The product is solid and a good quality. However the cost in this solution is in the labor, know how, and the professionalism. Pay for it.
